
Miami FC Brings on Midfield Winger Matias Romero

Miami, FL. - The Miami Football Club announced today the signing of midfield winger Matías Romero.
Romero comes to Miami FC to make his USL Championship debut ahead of the 2025 season.
Romero has spent the majority of his career playing in Argentina. The midfielder was most recently with Instituto ACC in the Torneo Apertura for the 2023/2024 season.
Romero has also played for CA Banfield and AA Argentinos Juniors, having scored four goals in his time with the latter.
"I'm happy and excited to be with Miami FC! I'm convinced that it will be a great year for the team!" said Romero. "I will work hard to help the team and meet our objectives together!"
Romero joins Miami's midfield bringing in key experience ahead of the upcoming season, coming in to make his debut in the South Florida team's home opener against Detroit City FC on March 8th.
