February 15, 2011 - Premier Basketball League (PBL)
Halifax Rainmen News Release
On Tuesday morning Halifax Rainmen guard Mike Mercer departed from the team due to family reasons.
Mercer first joined the Rainmen organization in November 2010 and quickly became a fan favorite for his powerful dunking ability.
"We have enjoyed having Mike as a part of our team and wish him and his family the best," said Halifax Rainmen President & CEO, Andre Levingston.
The Rainmen will return to the Metro Centre on Saturday, March 5 where they will battle the Quebec Kebs in a 1:30 game, as well as in a 12:30 overtime re-match to determine the winner of the February 4 game.
Tickets for the March 5 game can be purchased at any Ticket Atlantic location or at the Metro Centre Box Office. For group rate inquiries, please visit www.rainmenbasketball.ca.
