Schaumburg Flyers News Release

Schaumburg, IL - The Schaumburg Flyers have announced today that Meijer has renewed their corporate sponsorship for the 2007 season. The Grand Rapids, Michigan based retailer has partnered with the Flyers since 2005.

In addition to print advertising and outfield signage, Meijer will be sponsoring an on field price guessing game of their products between innings of all Flyers home games. Meijer will also have spots run during the internet broadcasts of all Flyers games on flyersbaseball.com.

Through this partnership, the Flyers will be providing a two-for-one offer on reserved seat tickets for all Meijer customers on the majority of weeknight games at Alexian Field. There will also be two designated games that will allow Meijer employees to purchase reserved seat tickets at Alexian Field at a group rate ticket price.

Meijer has also agreed to participate in the Flyers Caravan tour during the week of February 19. Flyers' manager Steve Maddock, players and the Flyers' mascot Bearon are schedule to appear at the Bloomingdale Meijer store located at the northwest corner of Gary Avenue and Schick Road. Flyers' personnel will also be making appearances at additional Meijer locations throughout the summer.

The 2007 Flyers home opener is Friday, May 25 when they host the defending champion Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks. The 2007 Schaumburg Flyers schedule is available at www.flyersbaseball.com.
