Meet New Surge Coach Jeff Bes

Mississippi Surge coach Jeff Bes will be on hand to visit with fans at Mugshots Grill & Bar 2650 Beach Blvd. on Thursday August 25 at 6:30 p.m. This will be his first general public appearance since moving to Mississippi as the Surge head coach.
While this will be his first chance to visit with Surge fans on a large scale, Bes has been busy burning up the phone lines, recruiting players for the upcoming season. The Surge named him coach August 11 and he located to Mississippi this week.
"It'll be good to have a chance to meet a lot of our fans," Bes said. "It's been really busy the last couple of weeks and will be up to the start of the season, so this will be a good chance to talk with fans and get to know them and let them know what we have going on."
Bes and the Surge begin the season on October 20th at Augusta, and the home opener is Friday October 28 against Huntsville.
