
McKenzie Meehan Re-Signs with Sky Blue FC

Howell, N.J. - Sky Blue FC has re-signed forward McKenzie Meehan to a new contract at the start of the 2019 National Women's Soccer League season. Per team and league policies, terms of the contract were not announced.
"I am excited and grateful to be joining Sky Blue for a third season," Meehan said. "I'm looking forward to preparing with my teammates for a great season ahead!"
"McKenzie's vision and movement enables her to simplify even the most difficult situations on the pitch," Head Coach Denise Reddy said. "In addition to her on-field talent, McKenzie has an amazing energy that is contagious to those around her, making her a key piece to our roster."
Meehan will be returning for her third season in New Jersey. During her first two years she appeared in 28 matches and recorded one assist. Selected No. 23 overall in the 2017 NWSL College Draft, Meehan made her professional debut on April 30, 2017 against FC Kansas City.
The club's first official match will be played on April 13 against the Washington Spirit at Maryland SoccerPlex and the home opener will take place on Saturday, April 20 against the Houston Dash. Season Ticket Memberships and single game tickets are available now at skybluefc.com/tickets.
