Maxim Trepanier Named Ultramar Player of the Week

Boucherville, QC - This week's Ultramar Player of the Week is Halifax Mooseheads winger Maxim Trépanier. In three games, the 20-year-old from Saint-Jean-Sur-Richelieu, Quebec scored four times and added three assists as the Moose went 2-1 on the week.
On Thursday night in Bathurst, Trépanier recorded his first four-point game in a Mooseheads uniform, scoring twice and adding a pair of assists in his club's 6-3 victory over the Acadie-Bathurst Titan. For his efforts, the fourth-year forward was named the third star of the contest.
On Saturday night at home, Trépanier was at it again, scoring the insurance goal midway through the second period in the Mooseheads 3-0 triumph over the Blainville-Boisbriand Armada. The goal gave Trépanier a point in every game he participated in during the month of November, part of a 12-game point streak overall.
He would extend that streak to 13 games on Sunday afternoon in Charlottetown. Despite the Mooseheads 5-2 setback to the Islanders, Trépanier would nonetheless score once more while adding an assist.
Trépanier currently sits third on the Mooseheads in scoring with 36 points in 26 games. A fifth-round selection of the Rimouski Oceanic at the 2015 QMJHL Entry Draft, Trépanier was invited to NHL training camp with the Ottawa Senators earlier this season.
