Maxi Win Your Backyard Rink Contest Returns
Published on November 1, 2022 under Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League (QMJHL) News Release
Montréal, QC - The QMJHL is proud to collaborate with its official grocery partner, Maxi, for the return of the "Maxi win your backyard rink contest."
"We are extremely proud to launch the second edition of this contest with our great partners at Maxi," shared QMJHL Chief Marketing Officer Karl Jahnke. "Last year, just under one thousand families sent us videos of their backyards with messages telling us why they should win one of the two EZ ice rinks up for grabs. The Tremblay household from Chicoutimi and the Chouinard family from Sherbrooke were the lucky winners last year and they had tons of fun throughout the winter months."
The contest ends on November 18, 2022. To participate, fans (18 years and over) are invited to send a quick video of their backyard as well as a brief audio or written description detailing their reasons for wanting a backyard rink as well as why they are such diehard fans of junior hockey. Videos can be uploaded to https://bit.ly/gagnetaglacemaxi.
"Maxi is a long-time partner of the QMJHL and throughout the years, we've developed great relationships with junior hockey teams across Quebec. With this contest, we can delight two lucky and passionate hockey families who can enjoy their passion for hockey throughout the winter on their Maxi backyard rink," shared Maxi Vice-President, Patrick Blanchette.
