OTTAWA, ON - Fury FC return to TD Place on Friday night to wrap up their four-game NASL home stand with a game against the Fort Lauderdale Strikers.

Meeting for the first time this season, both sides come into Friday's match on hot streaks, carrying identical 2W-1D-0L records over their last three matches, meaning the table is set for an intense battle in the Nation's Capital.

After a slow start to the season with four games on the road, Fury FC have hit their stride at home, with the help of the TD Place crowd. Ottawa is riding a nine-game NASL home unbeaten streak (5W-4D-0L) with its last home loss coming in August 2015 against Minnesota United FC.

Ottawa's early defensive woes are no longer a point of concern after conceding just two goals in their past three NASL games. The back line will once again be tested this week-end against the Strikers as Caio Zanardi's side scored five goals over the course of their three-game unbeaten streak.

Goalkeeper Romuald Peiser was named to the NASL team of the week following his second clean sheet of the season against Jacksonville. The Frenchman - who could equal Mason Trafford's all-time appearances record (54) and surpass his all-time minutes played (4808, postseason included) mark on Friday - expects another tight affair on Friday evening.

"At the moment we are in a very good form as we picked up seven points in our last three games," said Peiser. "It's going to be a very difficult game against Fort Lauderdale as they grew up a lot in the last few games. We are getting more consistency every game, we make less mistakes but we have to keep working hard. I'm very excited for this game."
