Oakland Roots are set to play their first home game at Las Positas College in Livermore, California in a closed door event. A delay in the arrival and installation of a new field has moved this match out of Root's home venue Laney College Stadium in downtown Oakland. Roots are set to return to Laney College for their July 10th match against Las Vegas Lights when fans will be welcomed back into the stadium.

Oakland is looking for its second win of the season after a loss to Orange County SC two weeks ago. While Roots controlled possession in that match, the team was unable to find the back of the net. After an extended rest, Roots is eager to get back on the pitch and bring home three points.

About Austin Bold:

Austin Bold is coming off an upset loss to the Colorado Springs Switchbacks on Tuesday, as Colorado scored the winning goal in the 90th minute despite playing the majority of the match with ten men. The recent loss puts Austin at eleven points and into the bottom half of the Western Conference Mountain Division table. Bold's goalkeeper Elliot Panicco has three clean sheets to date, putting him in a nine-way tie for first place in the league.
