Match Preview: Fury FC Carry Confidence into Carolina

OTTAWA, ON - Ottawa Fury FC continue their season-opening, four-match road trip Saturday night in Carolina where they look to build on their encouraging 1-1 draw in Indianapolis last weekend.
Last Saturday, Fury FC were able to collect their first point of the season and score their first goal of the 2016 campaign. After two games played, the club's progression has been constant, which pleases the coaching staff and the players.
"It's still a learning process, but there were a lot more positives in the Indy game than there was in the New York game," said captain Julian de Guzman. "We spend a lot of time during the week adjusting and refining the little rusty parts that we need to work on in order to get ready for our next challenge. In general, we can see that week to week the team continues to improve."
Though the RailHawks remain undefeated having won their first two games of the season, Fury FC will come into Saturday's game against them with plenty of confidence, knowing that the last time the two teams met on September 26 2015, in Carolina, Ottawa won 3-1.
But as far as Paul Dalglish is concerned, he just wants to focus on his team.
"Make them worry about us," said Dalglish. "We'll scout Carolina, we'll come up with a plan, but everything that we look at when we scout the opposition is how do we maximize our system versus their system and how we adapt within our system. If we do that and we are consistent, we'll have a very successful year."
