Match Notes

Battle of BC

Pacific FC heads to the mainland for another edition of the Salish Sea Derby, looking to finally get one over their provincial rivals this season. Vancouver FC have been on a tear in recent weeks and currently sit third in the CPL standings, but the Tridents will be looking to play spoiler on the road and lock in their first win over Vancouver FC in 2026.

The Breakthrough is Coming

Pacific FC continue their search for their first victory of the season, but signs of progress have emerged under new head coach Terry Dunfield. The Tridents have shown greater attacking intent and resilience in recent matches, and will look to turn those positive performances into three points against Vancouver FC.

Creating Chances, Finding Goals

Pacific FC has generated 7.52 expected goals (xG) across Terry Dunfield's first three games in charge, averaging more than 2.5 xG per match. While much of that total came from a high-volume debut against Atlético Ottawa, where Pacific posted 4.45 xG to Ottawa's 0.32, the Tridents have continued to create chances under their new head coach. Now, they'll look to turn that attacking output into goals, and ultimately, their first win.
