
Mason leads red-hot Legends to another win

Huntington,WV---The 2006 AIFL Champion Canton Legends continued their winning streak with a 69-52 victory over the host Huntington Heroes. Kevin Mason led the way with eight TD passes and another on a 1 yard scamper. On the receiving end of those TD passes Maurice Lee and Randle Lane each came down with three a piece and Chris Archie hauled in two. On the defensive side of the ball, Eddie Robinson had a fumble recovery for a TD and JoJo Polk and DeForest Hart each had two interceptions. The Legends will be back in action this Friday at home vs. the Pittsburgh Riverrats.
This Friday will be our Buckeye Legends Night with the gates opening at 5:30pm for autographs starting at 5:45pm. Those former Buckeyes scheduled to appear are Bobby Olive (Legends head coach), Chris Spielman, Vinnie Clark, Dee Miller, Derek Foster and Jeff Graham. The game will kick off at 7:05pm.
The Legends will also be appearing at the following locations for autographs this week: Monday @ Applebee's, Tuesday @ Donato's, Wednesday @ Damon's, Thursday @ Chick-Fil-A and Friday @ the Fox and the Hound. All times will be from 6pm-8pm except Fox and the Hound will be after Friday's game.
