Masoli Named CFL's Top Performer for Week 13

The Canadian Football League announced Tuesday that Hamilton Tiger-Cats quarterback Jeremiah Masoli has been named the CFL's Top Performer for Week 13.

Masoli, 33, completed 17-of-24 passes for 357 yards and three touchdowns with a perfect 158.3 quarterback efficiency rating in Hamilton's 39-23 win over the Elks in Edmonton on Friday night. The 5-10, 215-pound native of San Francisco, California also added three carries for 26 rushing yards in the game. Masoli has now thrown for over 300 yards and at least two touchdowns with no interceptions in three consecutive starts.

Saskatchewan's A.C. Leonard and Toronto's Boris Bede, second and third in voting respectively, join Masoli (1st) as Week 13's CFL Top Performers. The three players were chosen by a panel of judges who independently send their selections to the CFL head office. The panel includes former Canadian Football League players Matt Dunigan and Duane Forde of TSN and Pierre Vercheval of RDS.
