MASL Announces 2022-23 Dates
July 15, 2022 - Major Arena Soccer League (MASL) News Release
The Major Arena Soccer League announced plans for the 2022-23 season today. The season will begin on Friday, December 2, 2022. This will mark the ninth season of play for the Major Arena Soccer League.
Official preseason will begin on November 14, 2022.
Each team will play a total of 24 regular season games, 12 home and 12 away ending on or before Sunday, April 9, 2023. The season will span a total of 19 weeks. A complete schedule will be available this Fall. Some teams may agree to begin regular season play the weekend of November 25-27 if necessary.
"Last year was a season of incredible growth for the MASL. This upcoming season will build on that success for our players, coaches, member organizations and league," said Commissioner Keith Tozer. "I'm looking forward to watching the competition unfold and welcoming new fans from across the United States, Mexico and beyond."
The 2022-23 Ron Newman Cup playoffs will begin as early as April 12, 2023. The details of which will be announced at a later date.
