Marysville Gold Sox to Host Faith Night on June 17th

The Great West League-leading Marysville Gold Sox are teaming up with the Christian Business Alliance to bring the 9th Annual Faith Night at the ballpark. On June 17th, the Gold Sox will host the Sacramento Stealth at 7:05 p.m. at Colusa Casino Stadium for a night celebrating faith and the community.
Faith Night is one of the Gold Sox most popular promotional theme nights at the ballpark setting records for attendance in previous years. The event features a fun, faith-filled night of excitement with lively Christian music, a resource and information fair, prizes, giveaways, and activities throughout the ballgame.
Special for this year, the star of the night will be former Ms. America Leanza Cornett. Cornett said "I am so honored to be a part of this amazing event, and am proud to serve God in this way. God and music have long been a source of comfort, peace, and joy for me, and I welcome the opportunity to share both with the people at Faith Night with the Gold Sox."
Cornett was the winner of the 1993 Ms. America Pageant in Atlantic City, New Jersey. She is known for her wonderful singing talent and her appearances on Broadway and Entertainment Tonight and recently returned from a mission trip to Africa. She is also the Aunt of Gold Sox General Manager Michael Mink's Two daughters( Arista & Sierra)who said "I am personally very proud of Leanza. She is remarkably talented with a heart of pure gold and I'm so happy she will share her talents with us at Faith Night with the Gold Sox."
