Maryland Marvels Win Third Pre-Season Game

November 9, 2009 - American Basketball Association (ABA) News Release

Severna Park, MD. The ABA Maryland Marvels defeated the EBA's Virginia Mustangs, 92-84 in its third pre-season game on Saturday, November 7th in Salem, VA.

"Under the adverse conditions of traveling and the venue in which the game was played, our team pulled together and pulled out a victory," stated Marvels' head coach, Ron Moore. "The Mustangs were competitive for us. We were down as many as 11 points, but were able to get into our flow and pulled out the 8 point win. Every player was able to contribute and I look forward to the game on the 14th to see how the team responds."

The Marvels will play its fourth and final pre-season game on November 14th at 5pm and the season opener on Sunday, November 29th at 5pm. Both games will be played the Maryland Marvels' home gym, Severn School, 201 Water Steet, Severna Park, MD.
