Mariners to Host Exhibition Game on June 18th

PULASKI, VA - To kick start the 2011 baseball season, the Pulaski Mariners will be hosting an exhibition game at historic Calfee Park on June 18th at 6:00 PM.
The Mariners will be facing the Catawba Valley Stars, a team from Hickory, North Carolina. The Stars have been a part of the Carolina Virginia Summer Collegiate Baseball League for the past 5 years. The exhibition game will give Pulaski Mariners fans an opportunity to preview 2011 Mariner players. Depending on the availability of Pulaski Mariner players, the game will be between 5 and 9 innings.
Entrance to the game will be a flat fee of $2.00 per person. All ticket revenue from the exhibition game will go towards Pulaski tornado victims. Gates open at 5:00 PM.
