More information on Mariah the Scientist:

Born and raised in Atlanta on a steady diet of classic R&B ranging from the Temptations to Boyz II Men, R&B singer/songwriter Mariah the Scientist arrived on the music scene in 2018 with her indelible debut project To Die For. Prior to that, she majored in biology at St. John's University in Queens, New York, to become an anesthesiologist. When pursuing a career in music became a strong reality, Mariah left school and moved back to Atlanta to hone her craft and become self-sufficient in her creative process. Thus, Mariah the Scientist came to be. From there, she caught the attention of RCA Records, signed a record deal and in 2019 released her major label debut project Master. In 2020, she released two tracks -- the slow-drip ballad "RIP" and the melodic "Always n Forever" feat. Lil Baby. In 2021, she released "2 You" -- a mesmerizing song with a trippy beat that flows seamlessly with Mariah's clear, sleek vocals. All three tracks are featured on Mariah's new project RY RY WORLD, which debuted in July.
