WALPOLE, MASS. - Traverse City North Stars goalie Tyler Marble turned aside 32 shots on Monday, backstopping the score-happy Team Miller all-stars to a 9-4 victory over Team Legwand on the second day of the three-round North American Hockey League Top Prospects Tournament at Iorio Ice Arena in suburban Boston.

Marble (Howell, MI/TC North Stars/Lake Superior St.) faced 16 shots in the first period alone, and 13 in the final frame as Team Miller evened its record to 1-1. Travis White (Sterling Hts., MI/TC North Stars) delivered an assist and boasted a +5 plus-minus rating, while Kelin Ainsworth (Thunder Bay, ONT/TC North Stars/Lake Superior St.) had a pair of shots. Traverse City head/coach/GM Anthony Palumbo is Team Miller's coach, along with Janesville's Dane Litke.

On Monday, Michigan's Andrew Kolb and Motor City's Cody Wydo each struck for hat tricks, while Ross Mauermann of Janesville and St. Louis defenseman Grant Gettinger each distributed a trio of assists to lead the victory.

Team (Ryan) Miller closes out their run on Wednesday versus Team (Brian) Rafalski.

The event continues through Wednesday, with each of the four teams playing their final opponents. The teams are named for NAHL alums who have gone on to star in the NHL ranks (Ryan Miller, David Legwand, Doug Weight, Brian Rafalski). The jerseys worn by the players during the event are up for auction through Dec. 11 at www.nahl.com/auction.
