
Mandy Freeman out Indefinitely with Achilles Tendon Injury

Howell, N.J. - Sky Blue FC defender Mandy Freeman has likely been ruled out for the 2019 National Women's Soccer League season after suffering a complete achilles tendon tear to her right ankle during preseason training. Freeman was immediately evaluated by the team's medical staff. She has since undergone reconstructive surgery and is recovering at her home here in New Jersey. The timetable for her return will be determined at a later date.
