Miami Manatees News Release
MIAMI, Fla. â The Miami Manatees today announced their newest program to continue their strong support of Youth Hockey in the South Florida area by unveiling the "Manatee Youth Hockey Pass."
Hockey players 18 years old and younger that are registered to play ice hockey in one of the many ice rinks in Dade, Broward or Palm Beach counties will receive a Manatee Youth Hockey Pass. The Youth Hockey Manatee Pass is good for a free ticket to all Miami Manatees home games this season.
Upon registration with a youth hockey program, each youth hockey player will be contacted by the Manatees. The player will have to submit a digital headshot by email. Once the Manatees receive the photo, a laminated pass will created and sent to the player. All players attending any Manatees home game must be accompanied by a paying adult.
To receive their Manatee Pass ticket, players must go to the Miami Arena box office and present their Youth Hockey Manatee Pass. The Manatee Pass ticket will be in the same price point as the ticket purchased by the accompanying adult.
"The Manatees understand the financial obligations that parents have to deal with when it comes to the costs of their kids playing hockey." Manatees General Manager Shawn Thorimbert said. "With this program, we hope to show the parents that the Manatees appreciate the time and money they spend, and this is our way of giving something back to them."
Parents interested in obtaining the Manatee Youth Hockey Pass can contact the Miami Manatees at 305-536-7825, or contact the Hockey Director at their arena for more information.
The Miami Manatees will face off against the Lakeland Loggerheads, Jacksonville Barracudas, Orlando Seals, Alabama Slammers, and the Macon Trax beginning November 8 at Miami Arena.
Season Tickets for the Miami Manatees are now on sale. For further information, please contact the Manatees at (305) 536-PUCK (7825) or visit www.miamimanatees.com.
