
Manatees Fall to Loggerheads, 4-3

Miami â Despite Tom Perry's goal at 10:23 of the third period, which pulled the Manatees to within one goal of the Loggerheads, the Manatees were unable to come away with the win in front of 1200 fans at the Lakeland Center.
Oak Hewer scored a short-handed goal in the first period, but Lakeland scored four unanswered goals to take a 4-1 lead through the third period. Miami came back in the third, with Hewer getting his second goal of the game, both assisted by Eric Perricone.
Goaltender Mark Gowan played in his first game of the season, making 24 saves of 28 shots, while Loggerheads goalie got his team's first win of the season by stopping 27 of 30 shots.
The Manatees play in Jacksonville Saturday night, and then head to take on the Orlando Seals Sunday. With the loss, the Manatees
