OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Curt Malawsky (Rochester) scored five goals, added two assists (5g, 2a, 7pts..), collected three loose balls and scored the game winner in a 16-12 win over the Colorado Mammoth. Malawsky scored three goals (3g, 2a, 5pts.) and collected seven loose balls in a 11-10 win over the Columbus Landsharks.
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Gord Nash (New York) made 55 saves and added one assist (1a, 1 pt.) in a 10-9 win over the Calgary Roughnecks. Nash allowed only nine goals on 64 total shots and collected 12 loose balls.
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Brian Langtry (Colorado) scored three goals and added one assist (3g, 1a, 4pts.) and collected six loose balls in a 18-17 win over the New Jersey Storm. Langtry added two assists (2a, 2pts.) and collected 11 loose balls in a 16-12 loss against the Rochester Knighthawks.
OVERALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Gary Gait (Colorado) scored six goals, added one assist (6g, 1a, 7pts.), and collected five loose balls in a 18-17 win against the New Jersey Storm. Gait scored six goals (6g, 1a, 7pts.) and collected eight loose balls in a 16-12 loss against the Rochester Knighthawks.
