
Mallards Welcome Fans To March 20 John Deere Community Night

MOLINE, Ill. (March 11, 2010) - The Quad City Mallards, proud International Hockey League (IHL) affiliate of the Philadelphia Flyers, today announced that the Mallards have teamed with John Deere for John Deere Community Night on Saturday evening, March 20 when the Mallards take on the Bloomington Prairie Thunder at the i wireless Center at 7:05 p.m. and that, courtesy of John Deere, tickets for that game are available for just $5.
Discounted tickets for the March 20 contest can be purchased in person at the i wireless Center box office or by calling the Mallards' business office at (309) 277-1364. The box office is open Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., on Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and on game days from 10:00 a.m. through the end of the second period.
In addition, the first 1,000 fans through the doors for the March 20 game will receive free John Deere caps.
The Mallards will wear their special edition black third jerseys featuring the team's Mallard-in-flight logo during the March 20 tilt and those sweaters will go up for bid in a live auction immediately after that contest. Fans can get a sneak preview of the third jerseys this weekend- the Flock will wear black in home games this Saturday night at 7:05 p.m. against Muskegon and the following afternoon at 4:05 p.m. against Dayton.
