
Mallards to Host October 13 Preseason Meeting with Blaze

MOLINE, Ill. (July 18, 2012) - The Quad City Mallards of the "AA" Central Hockey League today announced they will host a preseason game against the Bloomington Blaze on Saturday, October 13- one night after visiting Bloomington for an exhibition match-up with the Blaze.
Faceoff time for the October 13 home game is to be determined. The puck will drop at 7:30 p.m. when the Mallards meet the Blaze on the road on October 12.
"Bloomington has long been at natural rival for the Mallards," said Mallards executive vice president Ryan Simmons. "Our preseason home game with the Blaze will give our fans a chance to see both new and familiar faces on the ice and also check out what's in store for the upcoming season."
The Mallards are set to open the 2012-13 regular season the weekend following the two exhibition meetings with Bloomington. The 2012-13 CHL regular season schedule will be announced in the coming weeks.
2012-13 Mallards season tickets as well as the Mallards' new Partial Punch Plan are on sale now.
