MOLINE, Ill. (October 22, 2009) - The Quad City Mallards, proud International Hockey League (IHL) affiliate of the Philadelphia Flyers, today announced that the Mallards have teamed with Coors Light and Euclid Beverage for a wide ranging partnership that sees Coors Light become the title sponsor of the Mallards' unique ICE ROW Cold Pass tickets and join with the Mallards in a wide array of other dynamic initiatives.

"Our partnership with Coors Light and Euclid Beverage is something we are very excited about in particular because of their willingness to be a part of some of the most unique initiatives found anywhere in professional sports," said Mallards Executive Vice President and General Manager Shawn Hackman.

The first joint effort of the Mallards and Euclid Beverage will be to benefit the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation this Saturday at "Faceoff Rocks," which features not only the Mallards' home opener against Fort Wayne but also hard rock legends Night Ranger live in concert outside the i wireless Center before the game. Fans who make a $1 donation at the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation booth in the Fan Fest area outside the i wireless Center on Saturday will be entered to win one of two prize packages, each of which will be comprised of a pair of Mallards season tickets and a pair of Mallards/Coors Light replica jerseys. The Coors Light ICE ROW Cold Pass provides fans in the first row closest to the ice high intensity game action with the all the access usually reserved for only a select few- including Mallards locker room and hockey operations access prior to the game. The Mallards are the first team in the history of professional hockey to offer this fan experience like no other. Coors Light ICE ROW Cold Pass ticket holders are also allowed into the i wireless Center 30 minutes prior to walk up general admissions, allowing plenty of time to witness coach's comments and be a part of the Mallards' behind the scenes experience.

Moreover, Coors Light will grab the attention of fans both inside and outside the i iwireless Center during Mallards games whenever the puck goes into one of the four "Coors Light Corners" of the rink. Coors Light logos are emblazoned on the ice in the corners for all to see- and also hear about on Mallards radio and internet broadcasts, during which the "Coors Light Corners" will be a frequently heard element of the program.

Following this Saturday's game, fans will have a chance to meet the Mallards courtesy of Coors Light and enjoy $2 Coors Light bottles at the Bier Stube in Moline in the first of what will be a series of post-game parties throughout the season. Mallards players will head to The Bier Stube to socialize with the fans of the Quad Cities immediately after leaving the i wireless Center following the Flock's tussle with the Komets. "Through our bar and restaurant tour we've sought to visit Euclid's key accounts and spread message of the kind of positive support that Euclid Beverage provides in this community," said Mallards Executive Vice President and General Manager Shawn Hackman.
