Mainfreight Returns as a Key Partner for the 2023 Season

Since 2021, Mainfreight has become integral to the Rugby New York family and will continue as the team's Official Logistics and Transportation Partner for the 2023 season.
In last year's MLR Championship-winning season, the Mainfreight logo appeared on the front of the jersey, and this season, the brand will be prominently featured on the back right of all team playing shorts.
Mainfreight will own branded social media posts on all official team announcements as part of the renewed partnership. Both sides have experienced brand success in their previous collaborations. According to Sponsor United, a study conducted after this past season found that Ironworker's highest-engaged tweet of the season was one of Mainfreight's tweets with the team. It was also the league's third-highest engaged tweet overall.
"We are extremely grateful for Mainfreight's continued support, and we look forward to strengthening this partnership between two organizations with shared values and relations to New Zealand," said Ric Salizzo, Chief Executive Officer at Rugby New York.
The two parties will continue to work hard to further each other's brand. Rugby New York and Mainfreight will team up to promote their association, and Rugby New York will be dedicated to further enhancing the L.A.-based company's brand and supply chain products/services. Rugby New York is proud to continue their partnership with Mainfreight on the quest for a second-straight MLR Shield.
