Team Notes

The MAINEiacs ended the first half of the season this week collecting all six points available from Rimouski and Victoriaville.

In the first game against Rimouski, Stefan Chaput scored the MAINEiacs second hat trick of the season on tuesday's 5-2 win. On Friday's game, Lewiston remained dominant over Rimouski in game two of the season series. Danick Paquette and Marc Bourgeois both netted goals in the second period and that would prove to be enough. Lewiston won the game 3-1.

On Sunday, Lewiston took on the Victoriaville Tigres. Newcommer Pier-Olivier Morin scored his first QMJHL goal while Stefano Giliati scored his 20th of the season in the second period. Lewiston would go on to win the match 4-2.

Lewiston goes into the Christmas break within shouting distance of first place, with Cape Breton only four points ahead.
