Lewiston MAINEiacs News Release
Lewiston, ME - The Lewiston MAINEiacs will be looking to close the books on tonight's 7-1 loss at the hands of the Acadie-Bathust Titan in hopes of a better performance in tomorrow night's rematch.
The Titan jumped out to an early lead scoring 3 unanswered goals in the opening period. In the second, they extended the lead to 4-0 before Lewiston finally got on the board as Chris Tutalo scored his 13th of the year on the power play.
The Titan responded with another 3 unanswered goals to finish up 7-1.
Nicolas Champion was not tested that often between the pipes for Bathurst, but made some great saves when it counted. Lewiston's Jonathan Bernier took the loss at the other end.
These two teams square off again tomorrow night in the second game of this double-header.
