Mahoning Valley Thunder Announce Kicker Tryouts

Boardman, Oh. - The Mahoning Valley Thunder Arena Football Team is continuing to assemble their inaugural 2007 roster by holding a kicker tryout. The Thunder will hold an open tryout for kickers on Tuesday, December 5th 12:00 pm at the Chevrolet Centre in Downtown Youngstown.
There will be a registration fee of $25 the day of the tryout, walk-ups welcome (registration fee is non-refundable and includes a T-shirt). The Thunder Organization will only accept cash as payment for the tryout.
Participants need to bring their own kicking tees or kicking equipment, official af2 game balls will be provided. All kickers will be scored on five (5) kickoffs and 8 (eight) extra points; after the preliminary kicks, those invited to stay will be tested on field goals. Those remaining after the first two stages will kick on side kicks.
