
Mahoning Valley sweeps weekend series

St. Louis Bandits News Release
The St. Louis Bandits dropped to 16-3-2 with a 3-1 loss to the Mahoning Valley Phantoms on Saturday night.
The Phantoms jumped out to a 2-0 lead with late first period goals from Brandon Sadd and Cole Schneider. Mahoning Valley increased the lead to 3-0 with a Christian Long goal early in the second period. The Bandits cut the lead to 3-1 on a Clinton Bourbonais goal midway through the third period.
Mahoning Valley goaltender Jordan Tibbett stopped 20 of 21 shots in route to the victory.
The Bandits now travel to Topeka to take on their NAHL South division rivals on November 21st and 22nd.
