
MAHL's leading scorer headed to the Wichita Thunder

The Indiana Ice Miners forward Justin Depretis was called up to the Central Hockey League's Wichita Thunder on Thursday. The twenty-five year old native of Pittsburgh, PA heads to Wichita after leading the Mid-Atlantic Hockey League in a number of categories. Depretis, 6'-3", 230lbs, leaves Indiana as the MAHL's leading scorer (37 pts), and first in goals (26), power play goals (7), game winning goals (4), and plus / minus (+21).
Justin Depretis' call up to Wichita marks the seventh MAHL player to be called to either the CHL or ECHL this season. Wichita plays at home this weekend against Odessa on Friday night and Rocky Mountain on Saturday.
