
Magicians Raise over $3000 for Susan G Komen of Minnesota

The Minnesota Magicians teamed up with Susan G Komen of Minnesota on February 8th to raise money for breast cancer research. The players wore specially designed pink jerseys during the game against the Springfield Jr. Blues, and after a 3-0 victory, the jerseys were auctioned away to fans eager to get their hands on game worn Magicians attire.ÃâàIn total, the auction yielded over $3000 in proceeds, all of which will benefit Susan G. Komen Minnesota.ÃâàDirector of Team Operations Joe Scanlon said of the event, "Susan G. Komen is a world class organization that we are excited to partner with.ÃâàWe look forward to building upon the fundraising that we were able to do this year and make our annual Pink Night even better in years to come."ÃâàThe Minnesota Magicians (Members of the NAHL) play their home games out of Richfield Ice Arena.
