Brevard Blue Ducks News Release
Orlando, FL â The Brevard Blue Ducks made their presence felt again on the second day of play in the Orlando Summer League.
Three Blue Ducks saw action as the Orlando Magic played the Detroit Pistons squad earlier today.
Guard Donta Richardson (6'2"/170 lbs. â Wyoming â03) and forward Raheim Brown (6'10"/220 lbs. â Florida Atlantic '02) both saw time for the Pistons. Richardson had one assist in 5 minutes of action. Brown netted six points and one rebound in 11 minutes.
Ducks center Ousmane Cisse had another strong performance for the Magic. In 18 minutes of action, Cisse tallied four points, three rebounds and one assist. He also had four blocked shots. That follows a Tuesday night performance in which he had 3 blocked shots in only six minutes of action against LeBron James' Cleveland Cavaliers. Cisse has seven of the Magic's eight blocked shots in their first two summer league games.
A mid-season pickup for the Blue Ducks, in 10 games Cisse averaged 12.8 PPG, 8.2 RPG and had 40 blocked shots for Brevard.
"He never ceases to amaze me with his athletic ability," said Blue Ducks President, Mike Richman.
