
MacDonald named ADT Goaltender of the Week

Toronto - The Canadian Hockey League announced today that Guelph Storm goaltender Ryan MacDonald is the ADT Goaltender of the Week ending Sunday December 18.
MacDonald, a 20 year old native of Chesley, ON, started the week with a 29-save performance in leading his Storm to a 3-1 win over the Owen Sound Attack on December 14. He followed that up on December 18 with a 25-save shutout that helped Guelph defeat the visiting Saginaw Spirit. MacDonald went 2-0-0-0 for the week, posted a goals against average of 0.500 and had a save percentage of 0.982. He was also named OHL player of the week.
Each week during the regular season, the CHL will recognize the ADT CHL Goaltender of the Week and will present the ADT CHL Goaltender of the Year Award to the CHL's top netminder at the conclusion of the 2005-06 season.
