Muskegon Lumberjacks News Release
MUSKEGON, Michigan (April 16th) - In preparation for the upcoming USHL 2015 Phase I and II Drafts in early May, the Muskegon Lumberjacks have announced the signing of Defenseman Graham Lillibridge to a tender, and the native of Geneva, Illinois is slated to make his USHL debut with Muskegon beginning in the 2015-16 season.
Lillibridge spent the previous three seasons from 2012-15 with the Chicago Mission youth program totaling 5 goals and 33 assists in 59 games combined between the Bantam Minor, Bantam Major, and Midget Minor teams, respectively, and has a commitment to skate collegiately for the Bulldogs of Yale University out of the ECAC following his junior career.
"I'd like to personally thank the Muskegon Lumberjacks organization for the opportunity to sign a tender in the USHL. I am excited and honored to further my development with the Lumberjacks beginning next season," shared Lillibridge. "The coaching and hockey operations staff does a great job of developing their players and preparing them for success both on and off the ice. Ultimately, Muskegon is the right fit for me after taking my visit there recently."
Under the terms of the tender, Lillibridge's signing takes the place of Muskegon's first round pick in the 2015 Phase I Draft, and the blueliner is required to play in a minimum of 55 percent of the Lumberjacks' games next season.
