TOP STORYLINES THIS WEEK:
- Louisville City has players from 10 different nations. We are celebrating International Night Saturday night vs. Ottawa with live music from Brazil, Jamaica, Scotland, West Africa and Mexico.
- LouCity battling through injuries: Starters Luke Spencer (hamstring), George Davis IV (hamstring), Paolo DelPiccolo (midsection), Brian Ownby (knee), Sunny Jane (ankle) have all missed time. GK Chris Hubbard and F Richard Ballard have not played yet due to injury.
- Sunny Jane and Napo Matsoso both being adopted by a Louisville family from Lesotho and becoming professional players in America.
- GK coach Scott Budnick went from local successful lawyer to goalkeepers coach.
- Mario Sanchez, our new director of Youth Development, is running camps all over town - HYR in the Highlands and Southern Indiana, for free. And the camps are growing.
- Niall McCabe is Louisville's longest tenured player and he now has a son who is growing up with his Dad playing pro soccer in Louisville.
- Louisville City Power Soccer team is a wheelchair team that we are building. Big participation numbers in St. Louis and Indianapolis and we are trying to catch up here locally.
