Louis Perez & Donny Toia Earn Team of the Week Nod

Louis Perez and Donny Toia were recognized Monday by USL League One for their efforts in a big 2-1 road win over Northern Colorado Hailstorm on Wednesday and in a hard-fought 1-0 loss Saturday night against league-leading Greenville Triumph SC.
The FC Tucson pair were selected to the league's Team of the Week.
Toia played both games as a defender. He anchored the Tucson back line and racked up a week-high 16 recoveries to go along with a trio of clearances and an 83% passing accuracy.
Enjoying his most productive professional season, the Perez recorded a goal and assist in the same match for the second time this season. Across two matches, the Frenchman won 14 duels, earned 15 recoveries and created a trio of chances.
