Two of the top teams in the NBL Canada met at the John Labatt Centre before 3,733 fans. London prevailed 124-107 in what could be a championship pre- view.
London enjoyed a healthy lead throughout most of the night. The stellar play of Gabe Freeman (32 points, 15 rebounds) led the way for the home team.
"Tonight we played a complete game, the entire 48 minutes," explained leading scorer Gabe Freeman. "We played together and let the ball do the work. Whenever we play like that we are unstoppable."
Sunday is the final home game for London. The afternoon features Yellow and Black Attack where fans are encouraged to wear their team colours to the 2pm tip-off against Summerside.
