London Lightning News Release
(LONDON, ON) The London Lightning are pleased to announce that we have signed Canadian guard, Marvin Binney.
The 2019-20 NBL Canada season will mark Binney's fourth with the league after playing parts of three seasons with the Windsor Express and Saint John Riptide. The 6'3 Toronto native enjoyed career-highs in all major statistical categories last season and is expected to take another jump heading into this season.
"Marvin plays with great pace, is a tenacious defender and has shown great leadership qualities to this point in his career. He is the type of player who comes to work every day with his hard hat on and will bring a level of toughness and Grit that we will be about this season. We are happy to have him." - Doug Plumb, Head Coach
"Just want to thank God, Coach Plumb and the London Lightning organization for the opportunity to suit up for them this season. Excited to be part of the program, and ready to get to work" - Marvin Binney
