(London, ON) - The London Lightning are pleased to announce that Canadian Garrett Williamson has re-signed for the 2019-20 season. Williamson is a former 2018 Playoff Most Valuable Player, NBL Canada Canadian Player of the year, and 2x NBL Canada Champion.
The 6'5 wing is the most celebrated Canadian player in NBL history, holding multiple National Basketball League of Canada and Lightning team records including becoming the first Canadian to reach 2,000 career points. Currently sitting 8th All-Time in career regular-season points, Williamson also holds the record as the Lightning's All-Time Career scorer, totalling 2,031 points in his tenure.
