Locomotion win big in Atlanta

The Chattanooga Locomotion Women's Professional Football Team had an easy time with the Atlanta Leopards Saturday night in Atlanta with a 68 - 0 victory. The Locomotion held the Atlanta offense to negative offensive yards and scored on its first three offensive touches of the ball.

The Locomotion awarded its offensive MVP of the game award to Carla Glick (#5), who threw for one touchdown, caught a touchdown pass and had 70 yards in receiving. The defensive MVP award for the game went to Lori Moss (#24) who had 3 sacks, 6 solo tackles and 1 assisted tackle.

The Locomotion "purple wall of defense" returned to its championship stellar performance from last season with this shut-out of Atlanta. The Locomotion has one of the top rated defenses in the National Women's Football Association which consists of 37 teams across the United States.

The Locomotion have a bye week this week and then play the Tennessee Venom on April 17 at home at Chattanooga Central High School at 7:00 PM.
