Locomotion To Honor Law Enforcement

Chattanooga Locomotion News Release


The Chattanooga Locomotion Women's Professional Football Team will play the Nashville Dream this Saturday night at 7:00 PM at Chattanooga Central High School. The Locomotion (2-0) are the reigning Southern Division Champions of the 37 team National Women's Football Association. They are currently in a tie with Nashville (2-0) for first place in that division.

The game will be dedicated to the 16,000 police officers that have been killed in the line of duty and especially the fallen officers from Hamilton County. Jim Pennington from the Metro Musicians will perform "Amazing Grace" on the bag pipes during the ceremony and Lt. Charles Lowery from the Hamilton County Sheriff's Department will perform the "National Anthem".

The half time show will be performed by the Cleveland Middle School Dance Team and the introduction and fireworks are sponsored by the Hall Vending Company. The Moon Walk will be provided by Activity Rentals during the game for children at a minimal cost.

The Hamilton County Sheriff's Department will provide free fingerprinting for the children and the Locomotion mascot, LOCO LOBO, will be on hand to entertain the crowd,

Gates open at 6:00 PM, parking is $2.00 and regular admission is $10.00, children eight years and under are admitted free. Admission is only $5.00 with the Kid's First School Coupon.

The game is free for law enforcement officers who show proper ID at the ticket booth and their family members can attend the game for $5.00.
