Locomotion Players Named to Southern All Star Team

The Chattanooga Locomotion Women's Professional Football Team has been honored by the coaches of the National Women's Football Association by having nine players named to the first string of the Southern Division All Star Team and six players named to the second team.

The Locomotion players named to the first string offense are Amanda Horner at running back, Amanda Lebo at wide receiver and Felicia Hudson, Jenny Parker and Katie Graham at offensive line.

On the defensive first string the coaches poll named Tammy Hall at the defensive end position with Lynette Carlson and Cara Dulaney both at defensive backs. Audrey Russell was named to the special team first string as the kicker.

The second string offensive player awards went to Melissa McCranie at quarterback and Kristin Reese at tight end. The second string defense includes Starlisa Horton and Dee Brooks on the defensive line and Angie Sanders and CJ Johnson at linebacker.

The Locomotion had more players named to the All Star team than any other teams in the Southern Division and has finsihed the last two season unbeaten and untied in the Southern Division regular season play. The Locomotion will begin their fifth season this March.
