Locomotion Could Win Division Title Saturday

The Chattanooga Locomotion (6 - 0) take on the Knoxville Summit (1 - 5) Saturday night at 7:00 PM at Central High School. A victory for the Locomotion secures them the Southern Division Championship and delivers them a home game in the first round of the playoffs.

The Locomotion is ranked anywhere from #1 to #5 in the nation depending on the power rating used and boasts one of the top defenses in the National Women's Football Association. The team, now in its third season of play, has moved from last place during its 2001 inaugural season (1 - 7) to its present dominance in not only the Southern Division but also in the NWFA.

In last weeks game against the Tennessee Venom, the Locomotion won 86 - 0 and in their earlier game this year against Knoxville, the Locomotion won 65 - 0. This game should move several of the Locomotion's offensive and defensive players into the lead in individual records within the NWFA.
