
Linscott and Ross Earn WCL's Moss Adams Weekly Honors

Monday, Commissioner Rob Neyer announced that the West Coast League's Moss Adams Player of the Week and Pitcher of the Week are Bend Elks outfielder Sam Linscott (Lewis-Clark State College) and Corvallis Knights left-hander Ethan Ross (Washington State University).
Linscott went 9 for 25 with eight runs batted in during Bend's six games last week. The LCSC senior-to-be currently leads the league with his .486 batting average. This spring with the Warriors, he hit .295 in 36 games.
Ross posted two strong bullpen outings in a pair of closely fought Knights wins. In those two appearances, he tossed 4-1/3 scoreless innings with nine strikeouts. In Ross's sophomore season for the Cougars this spring, he went 1-0 with a 5.12 ERA.
