
Lights FC to Host Open Training Soccer Parties During Evening Team Practices, August 1 & 2

LAS VEGAS - As Las Vegas Lights FC prepares to go for its fourth consecutive home victory at Cashman Field next Saturday night, fans can get up close and personal during the club's evening training sessions leading up to a big night in Downtown Las Vegas
Lights FC will host a pair of Open Training Soccer Parties on Wednesday, August 1 and Thursday, August 2, from 7-10 p.m. each night. The parties, presented by Denny's, will take place at Field 9 at Kellogg-Zaher Soccer Complex (7901 W. Washington Ave., Las Vegas, NV, 89128).
Fans of all ages are invited to come watch the team prepare for its August 4 match vs. Rio Grande Valley FC Toros. At the conclusion of practice, which will be at approximately 9:30 p.m. PT each night, there will be interactive opportunities for youth players in attendance.
Once training ends, Lights FC Technical Director and ChelÃs and Head Coach Isidro Sánchez will have a special message for all fans, and invite youth players to participate in games with Lights FC players, including volley contests and shooting drills on goal.
Both nights will feature live music from DJ Ocho, appearances from Lights FC mascot "Cash the Soccer Rocker," raffle prizes and much more.
All Lights FC training sessions at Kellogg-Zaher Soccer Complex throughout the 2018 season are open to the public, and fans can keep up to date with weekly training schedules at LightsFC.com/Training.
The Open Training Soccer Parties lead up to what will be a special Saturday night in Downtown Las Vegas, as Lights FC returns home for the first of three August home matches to kick off the club's "Saturday Night Lights" schedule.
As the 2018-19 school year nears, the August 4 home match at Cashman Field will double as Backpack Night, with the first 2,000 kids 12-and-under in attendance receiving a free Lights FC backpack, presented by Boston Dental Group. The "Cowabunga Bay Combo Pack" is available for the Aug. 4 home match vs. Rio Grande Valley FC Toros, offering fans a chance to purchase both a ticket to the match and one (1) entry to Cowabunga Bay Water Park for any day between August 1 and September 30, starting at just $25. Single-game tickets for all USL regular season matches are on sale, starting at just $15.
