
Lights FC Kicks off Road Trip in Pittsburgh

Lights FC started a two game road trip by visiting the Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC.
The Riverhounds took a 2-0 lead into the halftime break with Edward Kizza finding the back of the net twice in a 10 minute span (21st and 31st minutes).
Once the second half kicked off, Pittsburgh kept the pedal to the metal. Arturo Ordonez in the 50th and Danny Griffin in the 61st extended Pittsburgh's lead to 4-0.
Lights FC broke the Riverhounds clean sheet with Marcelo Lage deflecting a shot from outside the box and putting the score 4-1, which was the final in this game.
This was only the second time in the team's 10 regular season games in 2023 that Las Vegas has conceded more than two goals in a match.
NEXT GAME:
Lights FC will wrap up a two game road trip by facing Phoenix Rising FC on Friday, May 26th, with kickoff set for 7:30 p.m. P.T.
NEXT HOME GAME:
Lights FC will return to Downtown Las Vegas to play against Monterey Bay FC on June 10th, it'll be their lone game in the month of June at Cashman Field.
