Lights FC faced Colorado Springs, with Switchbacks FC entering the match as the only team that still had a perfect record in the 2022 USL Championship season.
The teams went into the halftime break leveled at one goal apiece, with a flurry of goals happening in a 15 minute span that saw both teams exchange the lead that ended in Switchbacks FC's favor 3-2.
This was Colorado Springs' fifth consecutive win to kick off their 2022 campaign, meanwhile Lights FC has split their first six matches of the regular season (3 wins, 3 losses).
