Lightning Win 8th Straight

(WINDSOR, ON) The London Lightning win their 8th straight game on Wednesday night in Windsor against the Express. It was a tight game throughout with both teams making big shots but it was the effort plays that gave the Lightning the edge out rebounding the Express 59 to 43. 115-106 was the final.

The Lightning were led offensively by AJ Gaines who in only 28 minutes managed to lead the team in both points (22) and rebounds (16). Other key contributors were Mo Bolden who had 19 points, Kirk Williams Jr. who finished with 16 points off the bench, Marcus capers who finished with a double double with 16 points and 10 rebounds, Garrett Williamson Finished with 11 and Eclipsed the 2,500-point scoring plateau, and Kevin Ware had 10.

The Lightning will head out on the road for their upcoming games, first coming against KW Titans on March 16th , a Saturday night. The next home game for London will be their last coming on Sunday March 31st against the Express.
